Hours
The hospital is open on Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

We operate on an appointment basis to allow adequate time to serve you and your pet, but walk-ins are also accepted.

Surgery
Dr. Hornback specializes in CO2 laser surgery and radiosurgery which offers an exciting new option for safe, comfortable treatment. He has received extensive training in these areas and attends continuing education classes and hands-on wet labs throughout the year. Laser energy seals nerve endings, small blood vessels and lymphatic vessels which leads to less pain, bleeding and swelling. Laser technology reduces the trauma to your pet, improves recovery, and shortens hospital stays.

Dentistry
Dr. Hornback has received extensive training in the rapidly growing field of small animal dentistry. He served under the tutelage of Dr. Ira Luskin, Diplomate AVDC, at the Animal Dental Training Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Oral pathology and radiology, oral surgery, and endodontics are some of the areas that Dr. Hornback is certified in performing. Periodontal disease is the most common disease in dogs and cats and chronic infections can spread to the heart, liver and kidneys, where they can do even more damage. Thus, preventative oral health is a major focus of our practice. Our knowledgeable staff will gladly assist you with a free oral examination, routine dental cleaning, oral hygiene products, or even advanced dental procedures.

Boarding
Our facility accommodates cats and dogs of all sizes. The cat room is located in a quiet area of the hospital. Large condo-like suites are provided for their comfort. We have eight indoor runs for large dogs and three different size kennels for smaller animals. Most of our boarding facilities feature skylights to add natural light and atmosphere.

Grooming
Jodie Crume is the niece of Debbie Bridges who groomed here at Evergreen for 8 years. Starting at the age of 8, Jodie would watch Debbie groom and occasionally even bathe a dog. Years later, she would often assist Debbie with bathing and grooming here at Evergreen where she learned most of her skills. At the age of 18, Jodie joined the Evergreen Animal Hospital staff as a veterinary assistant where her love of animals blossomed. Her true passion is to make the client and their pet happy with her grooming skills. We welcome Jodie back to our Evergreen Animal Hospital Family.

Foods and Supplies
Evergreen Animal Hospital offers a complete variety of veterinary recommended pet supplies and food products to help manage your pet's health. Prevention is the best medicine for any health problem, therefore nutrition is vital for the health and happiness of your pet. Dr. Hornback recommends Hill's Science Diet and Prescription Diet products, which come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Our trained staff will assist you in the selection of dietary and health care products for your special pet's needs. We carry a full line of nutritional supplements, flea and tick control products, oral hygiene aids, heartworm preventatives, grooming supplies and general pet supplies. Brochures are available that cover a wide range of topics from house breaking and behavior problems to specific diseases and general pet care.

Pet Portal
This is a free website service provided to you by Evergreen Animal Hospital. Pet Portals are private websites that give you secure up to date online access to your pets health information 24 hours a day. We use email to send you information about Pet Portal services, news updates from us, and reminders for your pets’ services.
