I love Evergreen Animal Hospital. When I walk through the door everybody greets me and I have a lot of fun. Dr. Hornback takes very good care of me and explains how I need to be taken care of and treated if I am sick. I get my bath at Evergreen and have even spent the day there for boarding. Mary and Chris are a lot of fun and give me lots of special attention. I would recommend this vet to everyone who is looking for a place that will treat their furry buddies with excellent care, excellent service, and lots of love. This is a very special place and I am so glad that I come here.

Dr. Hornback really cares about giving our pets the best possible care. His staff is warm, friendly, and efficient. We have been clients for many years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

We have always recommended Evergreen Animal Hospital to all of our friends and family for their vet needs. The staff is very professional and gives Tank the best love and attention. Dr. Hornback is so knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain things in detail. Mary is wonderful with Tank and treats us like family. She is very special and you can always rely on her to answer any questions or follow-up to make sure we understand the doctor's instructions. We truly value everything this vet offers, from boarding, grooming, checkups, and illness. This is the second animal that I have taken to this vet and this is the only vet in Louisville that my animals will ever go to. My last dog, Catfish, was a very sick dog that required a lot of visits and care. The staff took care of him (and me) right up until his passing and for that I will always be truly grateful. Thankfully, my new dog Tank doesn't have the health concerns that I was accustomed too, but he gets the same level of attention and care that we got for Catfish. I just wanted to pass along my appreciation for the entire staff at Evergreen Animal Hospital. I have complete respect for Dr. Hornback's talent as a veterinarian, but also understand the rigors of running the business side of his clinic. Not only is he compassionate and understanding of my pets needs as well as my own, but he aligns himself with competent, knowledgeable technicians and front desk people. When I am finished with an appointment for one of my pets, I feel like I have received 360 degrees of competent care from the check-in right through to the walk out the door. I cannot imagine using any other Veterinarian and I recommend Dr. Hornback to my acquaintances all the time.
